great peterz!!!

just a thing that is annoying me (i was used with the xtray plugin), if i enable the popup on private message it will open popups also when i receive an "unusefull" private message... like:

-NickServ- Password accettata per il nick EvolutionCrazy. Da questo momento risulti identificato.

or by chanserv when i enter in any channel (chanserv annouce the channel topic)

is possible to ignore all thos private messages as it was default with xtray plugin? :D

Nope, that can only be fixed on their end.

Why don't u give us chance to choose what encryption to use, so that we can login to linknet servers as it was till 2.8.0?

I'm having an issue with the balloon notifications on Vista (Ultimate 32 bit)....

When I come back to my machine when the screen saver /monitor power saving has kicked in, if I have received a PM for example that produces a balloon notification, I can open XChat, read the PM or whatever, and all is fine.

When I close the balloon by clicking on it, or by pressing the X in the top right it fades out, but then a second or so later it fades back with exactly the same message in it...

When this happens the tray icon becomes inactive, no longer responding to right click mouse to allow me to exit XChat. (which of course fixes the problem temporarily)

I use the switch detailed in this post, so it means to exit XChat when I have this problem I have to use the XChat menu instead.... no biggie but just illustrates the point :)

Really nice feature though, keep up the good work :D

Oh, I forgot to say, (and I can't edit my last post) that this doesn't happen on my XP partition.

*edit* well I couldn't last time I looked

I can't reproduce that problem Bowie. When I close the balloon, it stays closed. Anyone else on Vista have that prob?

I'll try and nail down the problem..... though it does of course rely on someone highlighting me when my machine goes to sleep :P

I have this problem on Windows XP Home. If you click the balloon, it keeps popping up. The only thing that makes it go away is clicking the x in the upper right hand corner of the balloon.
