editing "New Network" name

Postby EENvp » 09 Feb 2012 18:06

xchat: ver 2.8.8
os vendor: linux/fedora

when i add a New Network its name/title in the Network List stays, "New Network". haven't located where i can change this so each is a unique identifier.

anyone enlighten me on how to do this. tia

thanks @khisanth

i feel a bit silly but such is life...i went to the server and logged in and yes i was able to change the network name as you instructed.

i've always accessed that server's linux instances via vnc and for some reason clicking on the network name never turned it into an edit field so i just assumed must be some other way. didn't find it in the conf file either.

just as simple as you showed, thank you!
