Embedding in a terminal (gnome-terminal perhaps)

Hello.

Is it possible to embed xchat into a terminal? Like gnome-terminal? Or konsole? Or yakuake?

I don't know how difficult it would be ...

But it would be absolutely cool for me to embed xchat into a terminal just like weechat.

I am using gnome-terminal a LOT myself, with plenty of different tabs.
