Currently Xchat 2.8.7f is using %appdata% to store the "X-Chat 2" dir for all of its configuration. Is it possible to have this use the binary's subdirectory so I can use this application on a thumb drive?
What I want to do is put XChat in my Dropbox account and run it on my laptop or desktop but keep the logs/configs in sync.

You can create a .bat file that runs the command "xchat.exe -d profile", where -d specifies the directory to save the profile in, so the profile would then be saved within a directory "profile" from where the bat was run from.
*edit* It was brought to my attention that it would be easy enough just to make a windows shortcut that runs this command rather than a bat file
