Help with connect co

Postby Talim2004 » 06 Sep 2009 22:57

So I recently put a password on my channel, and I need a connect command for that so that I don't have to type /join #channel password everytime I go on IRC. I already had my password set in the connect command, because it doesn't work when I put my password into the nickserv password thingy...

Anyway, I need help putting 2 connect commands. I googled it and it said I had to put LOAD -e path/to/file or something and that I had to put all the connect commands I wanted to use in a text file. I did this, and only the first connect command I had in the file worked. I'm reaally confused. D: So could someone please help me? I'd really appreciate it if someone gave me step by step directions on what to do.

Thanks!

See http://t0x.in/xchatconnect.html

But nickserv passwords and channel passwords are separate things (although, they are called channel keys). For joining a channel, you may just prefer setting the auto join channel with a key as noted on that page.
